Where to Get CBT Treatment for OCD

To receive CBT for OCD in the Sydney area you can contact our practice (Peter J. Allen & Associates) on 02 9621 7775.

A Medicare rebate of $110.00 per visit is now available with appropriate GP referral, paediatrician referral, or psychiatrist referral. Up to 12 rebatable visits per year (18 in exceptional circumstances).

For other areas or other practices we recommend you contact the Australian Psychological Society and request details of a local Clinical Psychologist who specialises in CBT and who has experience in treating OCD.

Your local hospital or community health centre may also be able to direct you to government funded services.
